Meal Prep with a Twist

Through my business, The NEW Mpls, I provide free fitness, nutrition, and wellness education to North Minneapolis residents. I teach six different fitness classes, including classes for kids and seniors. From December 2018 through June 2019 alone, my class attendance was 1500 people. In addition, I have a solid base of 50 people who make it to at least one class a week and around 30 of those come to two or more classes a week.  This grant would help fund Meal Prep with a Twist class, which is a weekly class combining 30 minutes of HIIT (high intensity interval training) followed by an hour and a half of meal prep. The meal prep focuses on fresh and easy meal options for busy people. Some meals I’ve already done include: chicken lettuce wraps, salad in a jar, and avocado breakfast toast. Average class attendance for Meal Prep with a Twist is 12 people, but I can have as many as 20 show up.
