The Northside Presence Fund

In Honor of Bill Cottman

Bill Cottman (1944-2021), believed in the Northside and the power of community coming together. He was a shining example of how small acts can have a big impact, it was why he helped start the Northside Presence Fund (previously the Northside Awesome Fund) in 2016. 

Elder Bill’s commitment to simplicity, to gracious support, to showing up was and is ever present in the monthly gatherings of community supporting community through small acts of generosity in the form of a monthly grant supporting a fellow Northsider. His legacy and his presence lives on through this fund.
