Community Think Tank

Lateesha Coleman, a North Minneapolis resident and restaurant owner at 2118 W Broadway Ave N, launched a monthly community think tank bringing together leaders, organizations, and residents over a shared meal to collaborate on community challenges and share resources. The grant covered facilitator fees and marketing, while Lateesha provided food and space through her restaurant. The first gathering was planned to coincide with her Toys for Tots holiday event in late November and early December 2025, creating a space for collective brainstorming and community connection.
