Nuestra Lucha MN is a grassroots, volunteer-led folkloric dance program in North Minneapolis offering free intergenerational classes twice weekly year-round at 2200 Freemont Ave N. The program teaches traditional dances from Mexico, El Salvador, Peru, and Cuba to participants ages 3 to 70. Now in its third summer, the grant funded traditional cultural clothing for youth dancers to authentically represent each country at public performances including Open Streets on Broadway and other Northside community events.
