Peoples Market

I have been dreaming about developing a public market to serve my community for many years! The demand has recently grown in light of the closing of 3 retail food access points in the last 60 days. I want to do my part to try to close the ever growing gap in food access in my beloved community. I am launching The People’s Market MPLS- Market en Noire as a year-round public market to help close gaps around market access for local entrepreneurs, food access, food affordability and food justice. We must continue to develop the infrastructure to foster our own local, sustainable, just food system. I want to promote self-reliance, capacity building & wealth creation pathways.
